At MRE Partners we have a passion for backing young, smart, ambitious, passionate, and determined entrepreneurs who want to commit themselves to building a company over the next 15+ years. We are not interested in venture capital, we are not interested in financial engineering, we are not interested in turnarounds. We are interested in backing a CEO to acquire a small business who truly wants to commit themselves to building a large well run business over time.

You will have the opportunity work day to day with David Williams who has extensive experience in working with young executives and helping them realize their full potential.

  • 5+ years’ work experience

  • MBA candidate

  • Likely some entrepreneurship in their background

  • Smart - We don’t mean perfect SAT’s and we don’t care what your GPA was. Do you have a proven track record of learning? What we mean is, “is the light on"?” Do you have a high degree of both rational and emotional intelligence? Can you solve problems?  

  • Determined and committed - Do you have a track record of working harder than your peers? Do you have a track record of getting things done? How hard are you willing to work?

  • Ambitious and Passionate - Do you have big goals for yourself? What have you already accomplished? What are you passionate about? What motivates you?

  • Coachable and curious - Will you listen? Can you learn? Do you have a big ego? Are you open to being coached?

  • Personable - Do people like you? Can you build relationships?

  • Honesty and integrity - Are you trustworthy? Do you tell the truth? Are you transparent? Are you honest?
